Gideon is a litigation partner who joined Chan Neill Solicitors in 2025, specialising in complex commercial litigation. Before joining, Gideon worked in a boutique litigation firm specialising in high-value commercial litigation for corporate clients and high-net worth individuals. Gideon frequently advises on cases with an international element, and has litigated in the English Courts and has experience of ICC, LCIA, SIAC and UNCITRAL arbitrations. Gideon advises on a broad range of commercial and contractual disputes, with particular expertise in breach of contract claims, construction disputes, fraud, insolvency, insurance/reinsurance disputes, professional negligence and partnership and shareholder disputes. Gideon’s experience has included a broad range of interim applications, including freezing injunctions, security for costs applications and Norwich Pharmacal applications. Gideon acts for a broad range of clients including individuals, office holders and businesses. He prides himself on acting as his clients’ trusted advisor, providing clear commercial advice and securing the best outcome for his clients.
