Our various departments recruit qualified lawyers throughout the year. We accept applications from locally-qualified lawyers with a minimum of 2 years' PQE.
For senior associates or partners, we look our for established practitioners with a minimum of 8 years' PQE and a strong legal specialisation.
Our recruitment process involves two rounds of interviews, during which you will meet our Heads of Department and at least one partner. Our interviews are generally relatively informal and will involve candid conversations to assess mutual suitability.
We especially value relevant experience in one or more of our practice areas and strong employer references. We also take into account demonstrated academic ability, such as your class of honours.
Specific requirements for foreign-qualified lawyers
We value diversity and welcome applications from foreign-qualified lawyers with a minimum of 3 years' PQE. Candidates must demonstrate strong command of the English language as well as a commitment to live in the UK, and we may provide Tier 2 sponsorship (subject to a minimum contractual term of employment with CN). We also offer QLTS sponsorship, subject to terms and conditions.
