The Lawyers at Chan Neill have an established reputation for providing practical legal advice. We appreciate that economic solutions are required for insurers, policyholders and clients. We undertake litigation of varying types, ranging from simple recovery of insurer's outlay, policy disputes, declaration proceedings to dealing with third party claims from small to multi track. Our approach is proactive, using court rules, experience, and common sense to achieve a desired result.
At a time when other firms were looking at insurance litigation and services to decide whether to continue to offer them in London, Chan Neill took the decision to establish our practice. We felt it was important to offer our services in London and the surrounding area. Despite our office being located within the heart of the City of London, we are very competitive, and as a specialised litigation legal practice we tailor our systems and work practices to ensure we remain at the 'fore-front' of insurance litigation.
We do not 'cherry pick' cases. We understand that all matters are important to our clients, and each case deserves careful understanding and attention. We have strong working relationships with our clients in the insurance, loss adjusting and broker sectors. They all have peace of mind knowing that they can contact us, at any time, to raise any issues or concerns. We are integral in the training of our clients' claims teams, often tailoring seminars and workshops to their specific requirements. We assist claims departments in order that we work with our insurance clients and not in isolation.
We can assist in the following areas:
Policy disputes; fraudulent claims; HSE prosecutions
Costs issues, including CFAs and After the Event Insurance
Part 8 matters, including infant approval
Pre-action discovery/inspection applications
Magistrates representation on motor offences
Recovery on a 'no win no fee' basis
One-off pre-issue advice on quantum/liability for Part 36 purposes
