Michael Chan
Michael read Chemistry at UMIST (Manchester) and graduated in 1990 and then passed his Law Society Finals in 1993. Prior to the start of the Chan Neill partnership, he had already been a Partner with two other legal Firms from 1997. Commercial and Insurance litigation are Michael's area of expertise and he acts on issues as diverse as HSE prosecution work; Insolvency; Fraudulent claims, straight forward debt recovery and breach of contract issues. A number of Michael's cases have been reported in various legal publications. The last reported case was that of Parker v Neil. The special relationships which he has formed over the years with his clients have enabled him to retain virtually all of his clients since his career first started. When Michael is not busy working, he fund-raises on behalf of The Lions Club, which is a charitable organisation raising money for various needy causes worldwide.

Andrew Neill
Andrew read law at Liverpool University, graduating in 1988. He then completed his legal studies at Chester College of Law, graduating from there in 1989. Andrew has since worked for firms in Liverpool, Chelmsford and London and has worked as a partner since 1995, before the age of 30. Andrew met Michael whilst both were working as solicitors in the same firm in Liverpool. They worked together from 1997 setting up a branch office but always shared the same vision to offer specialised niche litigation practice and started up Chan Neill in 2003. Andrew has dealt with personal injury claims of all sizes, ranging from small to large matters requiring structured settlements. Andrew provides training for clients on a variety of topics. Andrew is married with two children and in his spare time, he likes to participate in and watch sports. He also works on a voluntary basis as a children's worker within his local community. |
